I am so very sorry for the loss of Dr. Bob Dedrick. My daughter and I remember him fondly for the kindness he always showed us in caring for our pet cat. And, I remember his fine voice and presence in the church choir in Meriden, CT. It was my privilege to have known him.

I was so saddened to hear. What a wonderful guy - I still remember seeing him at Church, chatting up a storm with my Dad, and the bright smile from he, (and everyone else) whenever we brought our cat in to the office. Fond memories of you all.
Shelley, Jeannie & I have you in our thoughts and prayers :)

I still remember the day when I was 15 that Dr Dedrick let me start working for him by cutting his grass. I eventually started kennel shifts at 16 years old. Dr. Dedrick has been my inspiration and mentor and is the reason why I became a Veterinarian. I would not be where I am without him!

Dear Jen,
I am so very sorry to hear of your dad's passing. Some of my most wonderful, happy memories of my childhood were spent with you and your family. As a parent now, I realize how important is for my own children to have friends that have loving, supportive and involved parents. That is what I had growing up. That is who your mom and dad were. Many years have passed yet I still remember sitting at your dining room table for dinner like it was yesterday and hearing your dad sing opera for the first time. May God give you and your mom and sisters the strength you need to get you through this most difficult time.

To the Dedrick family, my heartfelt sympathy to you all. My family was fortunate to have excellent veterinary care over the years, first with Dr. Stewart and then with Dr. Dedrick. I continue to be thankful for the time spent with Dr. Dedrick working at the clinic during my senior year at Choate. May God bless Bob and all of your family.
