Scott Squires Obituary

Scott Nathaniel Squires, 44, of Bristol, departed this life on Thursday, April 29 2021, surrounded by those who loved him after a courageous 6 year battle with cancer. Scott was born on January 13, 1977 and was a former resident of Guilford and Wallingford.

Scott was a devoted father and was loved by many. Scott will be missed the very most by his daughter Emily who was his whole world.

Scott is survived by his father, George Squires of Tucson, AZ; his sister, Bonnie; his brother Paul; as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews.

His second family Les Dena and Seth Forbes will miss his smile, jokes and laughter. He was an Uncle to Emily Grace, Alannah and Annaliese the daughters of Elizabeth (Forbes) and Timothy Raffile, Jr. Scott leaves behind the great love of his life Bridget Mauro and her family.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Kathleen, whom he will be joining in heaven.

The services for Scott will be at the Yalesville United Methodist Church on the morning of May 5, 2021 at 11 o' clock, with a celebration of Scott's life to follow at the Wallingford VFW Post 591 Bishop Hall.

Scott had a great love and respect for wolves and the family is asking that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Scott's name to Wolf Haven International.
