It is with the deepest sadness we announce the passing of Dr. Stephen Tobin, D.V.M. on November 9th, 2021 at the age of 76.

Dr. Tobin lived his life with purpose, practicality, humor, and love. One of his greatest callings was his work for over 30 years as a holistic and homeopathic veterinarian. In addition to caring for his furry, winged, and reptilian friends, Dr. Tobin could be found traveling the globe with his wife, outside gardening, grilling, or foraging for mushrooms, reading a good book or spending time with his grandchildren.

Dr. Tobin is survived by his beloved wife of 42 years, Martha, daughter Jennifer and husband Miguel and granddaughters Sophia and Viviana, son David, brother Frederick and wife Donna, sister Patricia and husband Brian, and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Dearest Martha and Family, Knowing Dr. Tobin has been the greatest gift to our entire family. He cared lovingly for every one of our furry family members for decades. Dr. Tobin´s calm and reassuring manner, combined with his knowledge of both conventional and homeopathic medicine, benefitted our cats and dogs, all of whom were and are rescues. He understood them individually and gave salient advice to all the humans who raise(d) them. We are heartbroken to learn of his passing and are confident that all of our fur babies, across the rainbow bridge, are safely in his stead. We will miss his guidance, his infectious laugh, and his incredible wisdom We are sending our love to all of you.

Dr. Tobin cured Biscuit of heart worm. He treated Biscuit with a gentleness. He was truly the most talented vet I have ever used and his sense of humor always was welcomed and calming. He will be sorely missed.
