Jean Caracciolo Obituary
She was born in Pittsfield on Aug. 24, 1929, the daughter of John T. and Catherine (Cullen) Quinn. Jean attended local schools in Pittsfield and received her Bachelor of Science degree in education from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. She then pursued her passion for fine arts.
Jean was a mother, homemaker and artist.
She was a member of the Holy Trinity Lay Community.
She was predeceased by her husband, Dr. P. Richard "Doc" Caracciolo.
Survivors include her children, Leslie "Lily" Miller and Moira Stewart and her husband Richard, Christopher Dutton and his fiancée Patti Woicyk, John "Jay" Dutton and his wife Kerry, Bernard "Bernie" Dutton and his wife Priscilla; 11 grandchildren, Michael, Joseph, Mary, Victoria, Nicole, James, Kayla, Patrick, Kassidy, Steven and Ryan; three great-grandchildren, Una, Hayden and Cade, and a niece, Ann Hutchinson.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday morning (6-26) at 9:15 from the Kostanski Funeral Home, 220 Federal St., Greenfield, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 at Blessed Sacrament Church, 221 Federal St., Greenfield, with the Rev. Timothy J. Campoli, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in Center Cemetery in Heath.
Calling hours will be Monday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
