Stephen Young Obituary

I arrived on this earth Aug, 11, 1954 in Concord, NH, the son of Russell Young and Arlene Bradley, they had just lost a son, Russell Jr., so to my parents and my two sisters I was a blessing. I was educated in Brattleboro, Hinsdale, and Turners Falls schools and to those students that bullied me along the way (and you know who you are) you can kiss my dead a--.
After high school, I enlisted in the Navy where I was a radio technician during the Vietnam War era. After the service, I traveled the country by rail without a ticket. I joined the circus, and fished the Mississippi. One of my favorite places was New Orleans. During that period, I had two beautiful children Aaron and Melissa (Missy). I also worked at Disston and CNS.
I enjoy music and playing the guitar, eating my mother's cooking and NASCAR. I am an avid Patriots fan so; please do not call me during the Patriots game because I will not answer unless it is Terry. I will miss my son, Aaron Young, who now lives in Fayetteville, NC, with his wife Alyssa and my two angelic grandchildren, Lucas and Lilly, and my daughter, Melissa Young, who lives next door to me in Turners Falls.
I leave behind my mother Arlene (Bradley) Senser, who always loved me and supported me unconditionally, and her partner Rod Krug of Bernardston. I leave two sisters, Janice Kerylow and brother-in-law Dennis of Orange and Judy Covey and brother-in-law Ron of Brattleboro, VT. I also leave a brother, Richard Young, and sister-in-law Raye of Millers Falls. I will miss my best friend and life partner Theresa (Terry) Gill of Greenfield.
I truly believe I am a kind soul and my life would not have ended on June 26, 2013, if I could have kicked my smoking addiction. Always remember, "there is the right way, there is the wrong way and then there's MY way." Peace out. - Steve
