Thomas Lapointe Obituary
Greenfield, MA — Thomas J. Lapointe, 68, of Wilson Ave. passed away Friday (11-19-21) at Hospice of the Fisher Home in Amherst. He was born in Greenfield November 4, 1953, the son of Norman and Beverly (Kimball) Lapointe.
Tom attended local schools and was a graduate of Turners Falls High School. He went on to attended GCC and studied Early Childhood Education. While there he joined a local theatre, where he was cast in many plays. He enjoyed acting, singing, art and drawing.
Tom was a Marine Corp. Veteran serving his country from August 16, 1971 to August 15, 1975 when he was honorably discharged.
He leaves his siblings, Eileen Johnson of Greenfield, Douglas Lapointe of Turners Falls and Karin Hensel of Macedonia, OH.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Franklin County Regional Dog Shelter 10 Sandy Lane Turners Falls, MA 01376.
Funeral services will be private.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Kostanski Funeral Home.
