Stephanie Doyel Obituary

Stephanie was born in Exeter, California on June 27, 1984 to Sarah and Walter J. Doyel Jr. The family lived in Porterville most of her life. She began school at the LB Hill Porterville Learning Complex in early 1986. The family moved to Oakhurst, California for three years and then returned to Porterville. She finished her schooling and went to the Porterville Sheltered Workshop DTAC program until the family moved to Kansas in 2014. Later, she moved with her brother, mother, and step-father to Minneapolis, Minnesota where she very unexpectedly died on January 5, 2024.
She was one of the happiest people on earth and everyone was her friend. She was active in her churches, St. John's Anglican, Porterville and Annunciation Parish in Minneapolis.
She was a fourth-generation member of Bethel No. 108, Job's Daughters International, in Porterville, where she held many offices and enjoyed the activities of the members. Her majority was granted in 2004.
She is survived by her mother and step-father, Sarah and Richard Stadtherr and her brother, Sheriden Doyel all of Minneapolis. She is also survived by her grandmother, Norma Doyel and aunt, Paula Roche who reside in Porterville. Her aunt, Katherine Prevel and uncle, Steve Prevel reside in Chino Valley, Arizona and great aunt and uncle, Susie and Bob McMillan from Phoenix, Arizona. Additionally, she has many aunts, uncles, and cousins in California, Arizona, Oregon, and Colorado.
Preceding her in death was her father, Walt; her grandfather, Walter Doyel Senior; her grandparents, John and Sally Pidgeon, and her uncle, Christopher Pidgeon.
Mass of Christian Burial, 11:00 am, Saturday, January 27th at The Church of the Annunciation, 509 West 54th Street, Minneapolis. Interment will be held in California in summer 2024.

Sarah so sad to see Steph's passing. She was always a happy beam of sunshine. I still remember her laughing when I met her for the first time at the ranch. My heart breaks for you as I send love and prayers.
