Steve Pettis Obituary

Steve Pettis, age 51, passed away Tuesday, January 1, 2019, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was born in Porterville, California on January 11,1967.Steve attended Terra Bella Elementary School in Terra Bella and graduated from Porterville High School in Porterville, CA. Steve was a very gifted athlete. He went to the Junior Olympics in New York and competed in track and cross country all four years of high school. During his high school running career he won many medals and honors in those sports. Steve enjoyed life to the fullest and was a very Steve Pettis happy man. He will be very missed and always loved by all his family and
friends. Steve was preceded in death by his brother, Jim Pettis, and numerous other relatives. He is survived by his wife Jennifer Pettis, four daughters Harley Jones and husband Michael, Cheyenne Julian and husband David, Faith Pettis, Stephanie Olson and significant other Adonnis McGee all of Oklahoma, and one son Dustyn Silva, his parents Norman and Juanita Pettis, sister Melinda Davis and husband Kent, sister -n - Iaw Tracy Pettis, nephew Jimmy Pettis and wife Emily, niece Katie Stotts and husband Jordan. Funeral services and burial were held January4,2019, in Lawton, Oklahoma. God Bless and be with you Steve until me meet again.
