Andrew "Drew" Myer Curtis
May 13, 1982 - June 19, 2010
Andrew Myer Curtis passed away at the age of 28 at St. Joseph's hospital on June 19, 2010. Andrew was born in So. Lake Tahoe, but raised and resided in Stockton most of his life. As his normal routine, he often stopped by for short visits with friends who he considered extended family. He was often called "brother" or "son" by them. He had a great sense of humor and often teased as an expression of his love.
Andrew had a passion for music and was a DJ in the Stockton and San Diego areas. He worked in Pest Control in his early adult life but recently pursued a career in welding and belonged to the Iron Workers Union.
He was survived by his wife, Sierra Curtis; his mother, Barbara Hargis; sisters, Christa Zwinge, Jennifer Bubnes, Tabitha Labunski, and Richelle Cornwell; grandparents, Robert and Lynne Hargis and Phyllis Derksen; great-grandmother, Dorothy Hargis; aunt and uncle, Linda and Steve Anderson; cousins, Jenny Sanchez and Robert and Steven Anderson; as well as many great aunts, uncles and second cousins.
Family and friends are invited to attend memorial services held on Saturday, June 26th, 2010 at 11am at Lakeview Assembly on Quail Lakes Dr. in Stockton.

My deepest condolences to the family. Andrew will be truly missed. I met him back in 2003, while working together at Clark Pest Control. Immediately we became close. He was well liked by many of his customers. Andrew always managed to make me laugh with his corky, upbeat attitude. We stayed in touch throughout the years, and I'm glad we did. I, too, looked at him as a "Lil' bro" ... My "Drew Down" was a wonderful person to me & I'll always treasure our friendship! 'Gone but not forgotten' ...

It is still hard to comprehend that Drew is really gone! I also worked with him at Clark Pest Control and he was definatly one of the techs that I considered more then a cowoker, he was a great friend, or even more, a "lil brother". Even after leaving the company we kept and touch and he would call me out of the blue to BS and have goofy conversations! I am going to miss having those random calls. I pray for his family and wish them the best through this. We Will Miss you ALWAYS DREW - Love Always, Your "Lil Asian Doll"

To Drew's Family. I am truly sorry for your lost. I've know Drew since he attended John R. Williams School. I worked there for 9 years and I really got to know him well. Almost 3 years ago thur his best friend Jeremy I was fortunate to meet up with him again. What a pleasure that was. Drew and I talked about funny things that happened in school. I will always remember how he made me laugh. Drew you will be missed by me.
