It is with a heavy heart that I just saw this Obit, Colonel Stallworth was my deployed Commander in 1997 in Italy. One of the best commanders ever. The last time I saw him and some other coworkers was in 2001, my deepest condolences to his family.

Col. Charles Stallworth my cousin, friend, confidant since 1950. Soul Vike Class of 68. Man's man. One the most goal oriented person I ever knew. We had a lot of fun, laughs and learning opportunities. Im thankful he took my kids into Mather Airforce base and showed them how he charted his flight home on a plane with his name on it.

Charles and I were classmates in the USAF Undergraduate Pilot Trainining Class 75-03 at Vance AFB. We went on to fly different fighter aircraft, yet stayed in touch. He was a very thoughtful and visionary leader both in the military and in the civilian world - a class act. I count myself as very fortunate to be a beneficiary of his wisdom and 45 years of friendship. He will be missed immensely.

Our deepest regrets to the Stallworth family in the tragic loss of Charles. I knew and worked with him and he was a dedicated Civil Servant who loved his job and the people he represented. Charles, his immediate and extended CBP family are in our prayers. May he rest in peace and God Bless him.
