John departed this life on Thursday, January 18, 2007. John was preceded in death by his parents, Edward Woodward, Sr. and Mary Edith Woodward and his sister, Sandra Harris. He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Patricia Woodward; daughter, Jonisha Woodward Smith (David), Smith; sisters, Phyllis Ferguson, Susan Williams, Pamela Woodward; brothers, Edward "Sonny" Woodward, Ken Woodward, Marquise and Anthony Woodward; Aunt Gladys Kinnebrew; 6 grandchildren and a host of relatives. Visitation on Tuesday, January 23, 2007 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Jesse E. Cooley Jr. Funeral Service, Stockton. Services will be held on Wednesday, January 24, at 11:00 a.m. at Faith Fellowship Christian Center, 1739 S. Union Street., Stockton. Committal at Park View Cemetery, Manteca.
