Mr. Mauro A. Fabre passed away Monday, January 28, 2008. A native of the Philippine Islands, Mr. Fabre was born on December 4, 1920. He was a Chief Steward for 40 years for Compana Maritima.

Mr. Fabre is survived by his wife, Rosario Fabre; children, Cleofe San Gabriel (Danilo), Emma Medrano (Boyette) and Leonila Quebral (Nonong); grandchildren, Gay Dail, Erick Medrano, Ethylene Morris, Melissa Quebral and Roselle Rexelle; great grandchildren, Shaiane, Nya, Breana, Aidan and Samantha; a sister, Eugena Fabre. A grandson, Perry Medrano, two brothers and two sisters precede Mr. Fabre in death. Mr. Fabre was a member of Caoayan-American Generation.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, February 4, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at the Church of the Presentation, 1515 W. Benjamin Holt Drive, Stockton, California. Recitation of the Rosary will Sunday, February 3, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at DeYoung Shoreline Chapel, 7676 Shoreline Drive, Stockton, California. Visitation will be Saturday, February 2, 2008 from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. and Sunday, February 3, 2008 from 12:00 to 5:00 p.m. at DeYoung Shoreline Chapel. Committal will be at Cherokee Memorial Park.
