A memorial service is scheduled for 10:00 am, Saturday, June 9, 2018 at DeYoung Funeral Home on California Street. Following the memorial service, refreshments will be served. In lieu of flowers, friends are asked to donate to Sandi's favorite local charity, The Delta Humane Society.

Best coach I ever had. And great human being. She was inspirational and supportive in my high school years. Many fond memories of volleyball and badminton will be remembered. She not only made us champions in these sports but in life itself. When I look at my trophies and medals, I will thank her for coaching me to these achievements.

My condolences to the family and friends of Sandi. She was a well respected and popular colleague at Edison High School. It was my privilege to share some time touring and reminiscing when she visited Alaska several years ago. Fond memories. Ramona Waddle Holmes, Haines, Alaska

I'm so sorry to hear of your loved and deepest condolences are extended to you. Something that's helped me through the death of loved ones is to reflect on 1 Corinthians 15:26.

I taught with Sandi for many years at Edison High School. She always dressed in "coaching clothes," and her students just loved her. So sorry to read of her passing.
