Good bye Dort...
Those fortunate enough to have known you for the short amount of time we all spent together can only agree that if for nothing better, you brought so much laughter, grace that only a lady such as yourself could exhibit, even sarcasm when it came to putting a rowdy card player (like Pirate or Bud) in his place. (especially Kenny) I still think of that Thursday at the Country Dream. All of us, (the crew) were in back by the sinks when Sr. came in. He grabbed a piece of…only we know…,ate it, then turned every shade of green, then did the 50 yd. dash to the butcher ship in 2 seconds. Gee whiz we laughed for days. Remember- Queen sized workbench?
Its funny, the other day I heard a song took me back to Jan. of 2004. I picked you up at the Fort Lauderdale airport. My jeep was full. My mom, aunt and all of us pulled away from the curb and I turned on the radio.(country of course) and thru the speakers came “(looking for love in all the wrong places)”. we all called it our song to remember our times in the “Sunshine State”! You so much enjoyed the fishing trip with brother Dickie for peacock Bass. We all had a spectacular feast at Dickies, you guys giggled like school kids.
You must remember when Dickie loaded us all into his souped up P.T. Cruiser to take us for lunch. He popped the clutch, caught first and burned rubber like Earnhardt Jr. We held on for dear life as he sped off then laughed like idiots for hours-Damn that was fun!!!!
The way you loved your family could only be defined as admiration. Every second of everyday was about some one else, never yourself. Your kids and grandkids were so surely blessed to have you in their lives. I am so truly honored to have known you and will never forget the friendship we shared.

Enjoy peace with HIM
Love you
T.

Dear Dottie, Tammy, Margaret and Katie,
We want to offer our heartfelt sympathy on the loss of your mother and sister. We always enjoyed Dottie and working with her at different firematic and auxiliary functions. We worked hard but had lots of fun too. One thing we will always remember is how wonderful a smile Dottie had. May the great memories you have of her continue to dwell in your hearts and bring you some joy that she past our way.
