Franklin L. Grey Sr.

Franklin L. Grey, Sr., age 62, of Vernon, N.J., died on Thursday, November 3, 2005 at his residence.

Born in Oceanside, N.Y., Mr. Grey grew up in Gardner, N.Y. and had lived in Baton Rouge, La. before recently moving to Vernon in October.

He had served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era.

Mr. Grey had been employed by Superior Products International, S.E. in Baton Rouge, La. as a Sales and Marketing Manager.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 38 years, Janet C. Grey of Vernon, N.J.; his son, Franklin L. Grey, Jr. of Charleston, S.C.; his daughter, Elizabeth Leiter and her husband, Scott, of Vernon; two brothers John B. Grey of Michigan City, Ind. and Bruce R. Grey of Charleston, S.C.; and cherished grandfather of Cora Mae Leiter.

He was predeceased by a son, John Stewart Grey in 1991.

Graveside Memorial Services will be held at 12 noon on Wednesday, November 9, 2005 at the Brunswick Rural Cemetery, 1166 Hoagerburgh Rd., Wallkill, N.Y., with Pastor Rhonda Myers officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations may be made to Karen Ann Quinlan Center of Hope Hospice, 99 Sparta Ave., Newton, NJ 07860.
