To the Gaspard family -
My sincerest condolences to all of you and yours re the passing of Joe Senior. I have many happy memories of our Roman Gardens days with Joe and your family. I am sure that he, Joan and JC are happy to be together once again (and hopefully there´s a tennis court!)

Dear Gaspard family my condolences on your father, grand father and great grand fathers recent passing. I was a student at Newburgh Free Academy/NFA during he late 1970's when your father was one of the assistant principals. Your mother Joan was my home room advisor during my senior year. (1979) I believe Amelia and i were classmates in Spanish class thought by a Mr.Lama during my junior year of 1978. May the memories shared by others comfort during this sad time in your lives.

Mrs. Gaspard was my 2nd grade teacher at Grand Street School and Broadway School in Newburgh, N Y and Mr. Gaspard was a school Administrator in the same city. I remember them both fondly and well, both being very attractive and kind always. I'm going way back in time to the 50's. My condolences to Michelle, who graduated with us in 1969, and the Gaspard family. May their souls and all the souls of the faithfully departed through the mercy of God rest in peace, Amen

My husband´s Uncle Charlie & Aunt Blanche Salzburg were Joan & Joe´s neighbors for many years. The Gaspards were well-known for their kindness and generosity. They and their family touched many lives in Newburgh. Our deepest sympathy to their family & loved ones. Our prayers will join many offered for them. Rest In Peace.
