Mary Harrison Obituary

Newburgh, NY Mary Harrison, a homemaker and a resident of Newburgh for 36 years, died Sunday, November 9, 2008 at St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital, Newburgh Campus, Newburgh. She was 92. The daughter of the late Marcus McMillian and Nellie Dean, she was born December 12, 1915 in Pensacola, FL. Mary was baptized as a witness December 13, 1995 in Monroe, NY and member of Jehovah Witnesses Kingdom Hall Newburgh South, Newburgh. She is survived by her loving granddaughters, Pamela Harrison and Felicia Harrison, both of Newburgh; two great-grandchildren, Everette Jackson and Vivian Jackson, both of Newburgh; special cousin, Bessie Wilson of Albany, NY, a host of other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be Saturday, November 15, from 9-10 a.m. at Rhodes Funeral Home, Chapel, 259 Walsh Ave., New Windsor, NY. Services will begin 10 a.m. at the chapel, with Elder Michael Moore officiating. Interment will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Newburgh, NY.

Pam and Felicia,
I was so sorry to hear about the loss of your grandmother. Mom told me and just wanted you to know that my thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. She was a fine lady and we look forward to seeing her again real soon in Jehovah's paradise. Again my deepest sympathy.
