Roslyn Block Obituary

Formerly of Monticello, N.Y.

Roslyn K. Block, 89, formerly of Monticello, and most recently residing in Tucson, Ariz., died Monday, May 14, 2007.

Born December 29, 1917, in New York City, to Morris and Tessie Klein.

Mrs. Block was a registered nurse and helped in establishing the Intensive Care Unit at Monticello Hospital in Monticello, and later became a nursing supervisor at Hamilton Avenue Hospital in Monticello.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 68 years, Philip Block; former co-owner of Mountain Dairies of Monticello; sons, Michael (Olga) Block of Tucson, Ariz., Gene (Carol) Block of Charlottesville, Va.; sister, Marian Cott of Placerville, Calif.; four grandchildren: Robert, Tamara, Megan and Ian Block.

Graveside service was held on Thursday, May 17, 2007 in Tucson, Ariz.
