William Bundenthal Obituary

William K. Bundenthal, 75, of Warwick, passed away on June 4, 2005 at his home in Warwick, N.Y.

Born on December 24, 1929 in the Bronx, N.Y., he was the son of William and Katherina Kallenbach Bundenthal.

Mr. Bundenthal was a retired Crane Operator with Operating Engineers Local 15. He was a Sergeant 1st Class with the United States Army, serving during the Korean Conflict. He was past president of the Nanuet Ambulance Corp and a member of St. Stephen's Church in Warwick.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Margaret Keenan Bundenthal; five children: Christine Bria of Apex, N.C., Jean Marie Scully of Warwick, William Bundenthal of Warwick, Terence Bundenthal of Raleigh-Durham, N.C., and Matthew Bundenthal of Willow Springs, N.C.; and nine grandchildren: Frank, Michael, Kaitlyn, Nicole, Brianna, Corissa, William, Sean and Kerrian.

Friends may call from 2-4 and 7-9 PM on Tuesday June 7, 2005 at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Ave., Warwick, N.Y.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, June 8 at St. Stephen's Church in Warwick. Burial will be in Warwick Cemetery.

Donations in his memory may be made to the National MS Society, 733 3rd St., NYC, NY 10017-3288.
