Cyrenus Icely Obituary
Cyrenus B. Icely Jr., born November 30, 1924 in Loma Linda, CA to Cyrenus B. and Hester Icely, passed away in Redding, CA on February 17, 2009 at the age of 84 years.
Cy was raised in Gove, Kansas, joined the Marine Corps in 1943 and saw combat in the South Pacific. He married Glenna M. Creason on September 14, 1946. Served as a certified court reporter for 45 years.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Glenna, three children, Ron Icely of Redding, Claudia Cole of Plumas Lake, and Kimberly Moreau of Lakewood, CA. He had six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Services to be held at Lawncrest on February 22, 2009 at 1 p.m.
