Dearest Lisa, Justin and Nate,
It has been many years, but the memories are heartfelt, as Donna was a wonderful Mom and friend to so many. She was a great soul to my Son Matt for her encouragement and non-judgmental acts of kindness she gave him. Especially when Pow-wow's came, she would ask him to help..
We wish you comfort in the months ahead as we all know recently to well- that the loss of someone so close is difficult. But with the memories and their enduring spirit, and after the sadness- they will stay in your Heart Forever. With Our Sympathy and Love

I am so saddened by the transition of one of my friends. Donna and I worked in the pharmacy on Churn Creek for many years. She was full of wisdom and shared many facets of our native culture. I have binders of information she shared with me and taught me to be proud of my heritage. Although we have not had much contact in recent years, I will always remember her beautiful smile and her loving and kind ways. My heart goes out to her family....

To Donna Stapp's Family
What a tremendous loss for all who loved Donna especially her children. My prayers go out to you all. Donna was my first friend when I started work at the Rancheria Pharmacy. She had an easy countenance about her that just put you at ease. She taught me the ins and outs of being a native woman. She was very well educated in Native history of all kinds and always willing to give out literature to back her beliefs and knowledge. She had a great smile and though many years have passed since we shared some stories, I will always remember her for all these things. My only regret is I did not make it back again to visit her after I had come to see her and she was sleeping. God Bless you all. Char
