George Demeny Obituary
Redding, CA
George Dale Demeny died peacefully at home on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at the age of 69.
George was born in Huntington Park, CA and graduated from Concord High School, CA. Following high school he joined the US Air Force in 1964.
His career as a plumber took him to Rohnert Park, CA, Grand Canyon, AZ, Sequoia National Park, CA and finally Redding, CA. In the past few years he spent his time on the golf course and being involved in his children's activities.
He was taken away far too soon and will be desperately missed by his family, friends, best buddy Marley and most of all by his four daughters, Joel, Marci, Haley and Morgan. You will forever be in our hearts. We love you.
Memorial services will be held on Thursday, August 25, 2016 at 11:00 am at the Veteran's Cemetery.

I am so saddened by this news. I met George and his brother Jim while spending a year at the Grand Canyon. He was such a kind, wonderful man. Jim, if you see this please accept my deepest sympathy. I know you two were close. RIP George and tell David we say hello.

I remember a group of us from the neighborhood of 6th St. would walk home from high school together down Bonifacio St. He was such a kind guy. I was glad that I got to see him at the last reunion. My heartfelt prayers go out to your family. Rest in Peace my friend.

I will miss my friend George. Together we repaired a lot of things for his family and had some good talks over the last 25 years. We often shared our USAF experiences. He devoted his life to his girls, all of them.

We have known each other since 7th grade. After all these years I am so blessed that our friendship blossomed in the last 3 years. You have been there for me in my weakest moments to cope and I for you. We gave each strength . I miss your daily phone calls and the trips to Redding going on trips to McCloud, Railroad Resort , golfing. dinners, day trips and especially playing Aggravation Game. We had a lot of fun. I had hoped for many more fun things ahead but suddenly you are gone. I wish Heaven had a phone booth. I would be the first in line to call you and all my other special Angels in Heaven. I am thankful that we had some time together and that I was able to help you get thru your last days. You will always be in my heart. You are no longer in pain. Spread your wings and fly my Angel. You are at peace with your mom and dad and other relatives. You will be deeply missed . Love You George, Saundra
