FLOYD LEE BOTTEM Floyd Lee Bottem, 97, of Worthington, formerly of Lamberton, died on June 24, 2024, at Sanford in Luverne. Visitation was on Friday, June 28, 2024, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Lamberton. Service was held at Our Savior's Lutheran Church on Friday at 11 a.m. The clergy was Pastor Steve Walswick. Interment was at Lamberton Cemetery. Arrangements were with Sturm Funeral Home in Lamberton. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.sturmfh.com. Floyd Lee Bottem was born April 13, 1927, to Fred and Hannah (Lee) in Watonwan County. When Floyd was a young boy his family moved to Lamberton. He served in the U.S. Army from 1946-1947. On July 18, 1953, he was united in marriage to Doris Haas in Springfield. Floyd worked for Redwood County for 28 years and also served on the fire department for 20 years. In 2000, the couple moved to Worthington. Floyd enjoyed vegetable gardening, fishing, camping, hunting and traveling and was a member of the Sportsman's Club. He was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church and the Lamberton American Legion. Floyd is survived by his wife Doris Bottem of Worthington; daughter Debra Grimmius of Worthington; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and many friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, a son-in-law Ricky Grimmius and brothers, Ernie (Annie) Bottem and Lester (Eunice) Bottem.
