Marcia Kaletsch Obituary
She was born Feb. 16, 1930, in Greenbush (Warren County), to Dale T. and Frieda Markland Bond. She married Robert H. "Joe" Kaletsch on March 27, 1946, in Burlington, Iowa. He preceded her in death on Aug. 7, 1996.
Marcia is survived by a son, Greg (and Stana) Kaletsch of Elgin; a daughter, Christina (and John) McCormick of Maquon; two sisters, Ruth (and Jim) Benbow and Pat (and Jim) Broadfield, both of Knoxville; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Bobby "Joe" Kaletsch; and a daughter, Connie Galusha.
She worked at the former A & P Grocery Store for several years and then as an assembler at Gale Products for 10 years. She attended Abingdon schools, was a loyal St. Louis Cardinals fan and enjoyed boating.
Graveside service will be 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, 2015, in the Abingdon Cemetery, with the Rev. Milton Marquith officiating. Visitation will be 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Galesburg Chapel. Memorials may be made to the family. Online condolences may be left at www.h-p-w.com.
