Stepheni Boyd Obituary
She was born April 7, 1981, in Galesburg. After only being diagnosed nine months ago with acute myeloid leukemia, Stepheni fought to every last minute, but God called his gorgeous angel home.
Stepheni is survived by one daughter, Tiarius Renee Gertrude Wilson of Galesburg; one son, Treykeece Lamar Wilson of Galesburg; one grandson, Reece Armond Wilson (Cheyenne Jones, mother of grandson Reece); her significant other, Steven Freeman of Galesburg; her mother, Shelli Shreves of Abingdon; her father, Todd Shreves of Abingdon; one sister, Treawna (and Sharrod) Cropp of Sun City, California; two brothers, Zachariah (and Kylee) Shreves of Cameron and Tye (and Jamie) Shreves of Abingdon; three nieces, Milahnia, Kenleigh and Kora; three nephews, Makhian, Khayden and Kye; her grandparents, Bonnie and Ron Shreves of Sun City, Don Links of Abingdon and Barbara Shreves of Abingdon.
She was preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Dick and Jane Stratton and Lucille Shreves.
She lived in Galesburg the past three years and in Abingdon and California before that. She was a CNA and had worked for several area nursing homes and was currently employed by the Grapetree Agency for home health care. She was very family-oriented and made every effort to be sure her children had what they needed.
Stepheni's funeral will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 6, 2018, at Northwoods Community Church Galesburg Campus, 940 W. Fremont St., Galesburg. Her visitation will be 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday at the church. Cremation will be accorded after the service. Hinchliff-Pearson-West Funeral Directors and Cremation Services Abingdon Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
