Ron was a byproduct of marriage with his youngest sister, and met him for the first time on Easter, 1977. I have gotten to share some great moments with him, cutting timber, logging, deer hunting, duck hunting, numerous family birthdays, holidays and coaching little league baseball. He helped teach me beaver trapping, and tried to teach me salmon fishing. Ron was a great brother in law, but a better friend. I could ask him anything, whether history or anything, he always had an answer. I work each spring on the old Booth Kelly and GP holdings, and would share where I've been and he would share with me, working or riding cycles up there when he was younger. I will certainly miss his voice, his laugh, and just listening to the stories of the way things used to be, the way they still should be. Though it is never easy to say goodbye to ones you love, I am thankful for the memories, these, I will always have.

I have fond memories of growing up near Walterville just down the road from the Koozer families. I cherish those times and Ron and all his immediate and extended family will forever be part of those memories. The Koozer Family were and are, salt of the earth. To Gladys, Janet and Bev, my heart goes out to you. God's Blessings and Peace

I went to Junior High and High School with Ron! He has been to I think all of our Class of 65 reunions. I remember him as a gentle, kind person. He will be missed. My prayers and thoughts are with his family!
