VIVIAN COTTON Obituary

VIVIAN F. COTTON Vivian F. Cotton, 90, of Aurora, Ind., passed away Thursday, October 24, 2024. She was born September 5, 1934, in Cynthiana, Ky., daughter of the late George L. Riddell and Sarah (Patrick) Riddell. Vivian worked in the cafeteria for South Dearborn High School, retiring after over 37 years of service. She was a very active member of Mt. Sinai United Methodist Church and Hogan Twp. Vol. Fire Department Auxiliary. Vivian is survived by her daughters, Rheeta (late Gary) Probst of Aurora, Lisa (David) Dodson of Danville, Ind.; brother, Bill Riddell; twin sister, Virginia Waldon; grandchildren, Kelley Probst, Matthew (Kelsey) Probst, Andrew Dodson, Megan Dodson; great-grandchildren, Liam, Logan, Owen, Ethan, Kensley, and Declan; also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale I. Cotton; parents, George and Sarah Riddell; brothers, Kenneth Riddell, Charles Riddell, and Leonard Riddell; sister, Pauline Wehmeyer. Friends were received Sunday, October 27, 2024, 6 - 8 p.m. at Mt. Sinai United Methodist Church, 9813 Mt. Sinai Road, Aurora. Services were held at the church on Monday at 11 a.m. with Pastor Jeff Burdsall officiating. Interment followed in Mt. Sinai Cemetery. Contributions may be made to Hogan Township Volunteer Fire Department or Mt. Sinai United Methodist Church. Visit: www.rullmans.com.
