"Beloved father & grandfather"
Peter G. Wittko, 81, of Waterbury, CT, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on Thursday, May 22, 2025, at St. Mary's Hospital.
Peter was born in Czechoslovakia, on December 10, 1943, a son of the late Ladislaus and Margaret (Slivosky) Wittko. He was a graduate of W.F. Kaynor Technical High School. Before his retirement, he worked as an electrician for Amphenol Corporation, in Danbury, for 42 years. He was a member of the Waterbury Senior Center, where he spent a lot of time with his sister, Ann.
Peter is survived by his son, Darren Wittko and his wife, Michelle of Celebration, FL, grandson, Martin Wittko of Celebration, FL, former wife, Debra Cavalier of Indiana, stepson, James Kirkland and his wife, Jamie of Georgetown, IN, stepdaughters, Kali Casson and her husband, Chris of Lowry City, MO and Kama Kirkland of Seymour, MO. He was predeceased by his sister, Ann Kirley-Allen.
Arrangements: A Memorial Mass for Peter will be celebrated on Monday, May 26, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 309 South Main St., Waterbury, CT. Please meet directly at the church. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. Chase Parkway Memorial/The Albini Family Funeral Home, 430 Chase Parkway, Waterbury, CT, is assisting the family with his arrangements.
