Sending love and sympathy to his family. He was my doctor for many years and he delivered our daughter and saved me after my diagnosis of cancer. The last time I saw him was at a concert at the Foote Lagoon. I teased him and asked if he would considered coming out of retirement. He gracefully declined. I will always have fond memories of Dr. Schacht.

I was one of Dr. Schacht's first patients when he came to Loveland in 1969. He was my doctor for many years after. He always had a smile and a hug for his patients. I also worked with Heidi. He will be missed. God bless your family.

Dr. Schacht was an amazing man. He was a true god-send when I was a teenager and just finding out I was pregnant and having lots of major medical complications. He always answered my questions and helped me through a very scary time. Later I also found out that he had actually delivered me as well. I am so sorry for your loss and will be praying for your family through this difficult time.

Dr. Schacht delivered my son 33 years ago on April lst. It was a joke that we shared in the years to follow. He was a very compassionate doctor. I pray for his family at this time and that they will be comforted with God's peace.
Thanks for sharing your husband and dad with me.

Dr.Schacht delivered my son on April 1 (April Fools Day). As I went into the delivery room he said if you deliver today it will be the greatest April fool joke in the years to come. He was right.

Dr. Schacht was such a compassionate doctor and father. I have the privilege of knowing his daughter Heidi also.

God Bless the Schacht family with comfort. Our prayers are with you.

Fred was my neighbor across the street in Country Club for many years. While an expert in medical practice, he did have his problems with fixing broken things in the house, sometimes with a comical outcome. I will always remember him for his kindnesses and his wife for her calm acceptance of life as it was.
