Aaron Webber Obituary

Aaron "Blue" Webber

Abilene, TX

Aaron "Blue" Webber, 64, passed away January 26, 2014. A funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Monday at Valley View Missionary Baptist Church, 3564 Clinton St., with Pastor Andrew Penns officiating. Burial will follow at Abilene Municipal Cemetery, directed by Abilene Funeral Home. A visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Sunday at Abilene Funeral Home, 3349 N. 12th St.

Mr. Webber was born November 11, 1949 in Knox City, Texas, the third child of six to Walter Frank and Doris Lee Webber. Aaron came with his family to Abilene in the early 60's where he grew up and graduated from Carter G. Woodson High School. Aaron was a jack of all trades and was often said that "if he couldn't fix it that he would tear it up." Aaron was employed by longtime friends, Gibson's Motors who also became like "Blues" family. Aaron was a friend to everyone and never met a stranger. Family and friends were most important to Aaron and he dedicated himself to insuring that he helped everyone every way he could.

Aaron leaves to cherish his memories his wife and friend Shundra Garrett Webber; daughter, Michelle Wilson of North Carolina; two step-children, Christian and Symia of Abilene; four sisters, Doris Robinson (Curtis), Mary Helen Penns (Pastor Andrew Penns), Nikka Webber all of Abilene, and Deborah Napper Williams of Grand Prairie, TX; three grandchildren, Christopher Bell, Rosilyn Smith and Kyle Sutton all of North Carolina; four great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and many friends to whom he considered family.

Aaron is preceded in death by both of his parents, a brother, Jackie Webber, a sister, Rose Marie Morris, and a niece Shayla Penns.
