Edward Shellow Obituary

Edward Eugene Shellow

June 2, 1939

March 1, 2016

Ed went to sleep peacefully and with warm hands on March 1, 2016. He was born to Edward and Loraine Shellow on June 2, 1939 in Los Angeles, CA. He served in the U.S. Navy for four years and went to work for Mattel Toys Lightcraft of CA and ITT Barlow as a materials control manager. After moving to Northern CA and NV he worked for K-Mart. After retiring in 2002, he had more time for his fishing. He was avid fisherman and would always be ready to go. He especially enjoyed the times his sons and grandson, Mikey, would come up and they would all go fishing. He played games on the computer and enjoyed becoming acquainted with many people around the world.

Ed was predeceased by his parents and his brother, Ted. Ed survived by his wife, Elizabeth "Beth", three children, Vicky "Tom", Kenyon, Mike "Cammi" Shellow, Tim "Noni" Shellow, and foster son, Kenny Bell. Five grandchildren, Stefani "Dave" Jones, Pat Forsberg, Matt Forsberg, Zack "Dori" Kenyon, Mikey Shellow, Candice "Sean" Dixon; five great grandchildren, Seth, Aaron Jones, Skyler, Sophia Shellow, Vincent Dixon; sister, Carol DeLaRosa; nieces, Dana, Julie and nephew, Joe Carrera and other family members.

He cared very much for all his family, "Lord, thank you for the ability to love and the joy of laughter to get through life's challenges."

Ed requested no services.
