Guy Eckley Obituary
In loving memory,
Guy Franklin Eckley, 79, of Reno, NV, passed away peacefully on December 28th, 2012.
Funeral services are still pending to be held in Mina, NV.
Guy was born in Hawthorne, NV on December 5th, 1933, raised in Mina, NV. He graduated from Reno high school in Reno, NV and was an army veteran. Guy served in the 24th Infantry in the Korean War in 1953.
Guy married Sharon on January 3, 2003. They were married 10 wonderful years.
Guy worked as an installer for AT&T for 30 years. He traveled throughout the United States for his job. He enjoyed all kinds of sports, loved motorcycles and enjoyed traveling in their RV.
Survived by wife Sharon Eckley, his son Guy Eckley Jr and wife Jenny Eckley, his sister Judy Kaiser, grandchildren Miranda, Boe, Clancy, Kyle, Jeffrey, Melissa and Angie, and other family and friends.
Guy is preceded in death by his daughter Viva, his brothers and sisters Charley, Leland, Joseph, Sara, Agnes and Howard.

Guy worked with me off and on when I worked in Winnemucca. Had him up for dinner many times.He will always be one of my good Western Electric memories. His family has my deepest sympathy Frank Baumeister

I remember as a kid riding in a really cool convertible Uncle Guy owned years ago. What a car ! Mostly remember visiting with Guy and Sharon and family a few summers ago at their home. What a sweet time. Sharon, I will always remember your kindness.
