I was so sorry to hear of Mike's passing. I was his teacher in second grade at Lena Juniper in Sparks. That was many years ago, but I always remembered him fondly. My true condolences to his parents, family members and friends.

Our dear neighbor for many years, Mike never minced words.
Memories of him include straight talk, watching him walk home from his good friend Joe's house and being followed there by Jeb and the cat. Mike, Jeb, then cat. Comical to see this parade of love. Funny to watch this stronge, courageous,
bearded young man escorted home by his animal's. Those he loved.
Mike calling for Jeb to get in the truck so the two of them could head down the road for their next adventure. Jeb's love for Mike was apparent as he wagged his tail, and seemed to laugh as he jumped in the truck, stuck his head out the window and off they went.
Or the kindness he exhibited when during times of despair he was there saying 'Right On.'
This wonderful young man with so much love in his heart was taken too soon. He for sure has a special place in our hearts. And everyone that knew him.
A gentle spirit in a rough, tough, exterior.
"Right On" Mike. For the short time you were on this Earth you certainly made an impact.
God speed.
We love you and we will miss you.
