RALPH HOKE Obituary

Ralph Howell Hoke, Jr.

Ralph Howell Hoke, Jr., 79, passed away on December 24, 2012 in Sparks, NV. Ralph was born on May 27, 1933 in Morgantown, WV to Ralph H. Hoke, Sr. & Margaretta Coyle Hoke. Ralph was the oldest of three sons. In April 1952 Ralph married the love of his life Grace Edna Ferguson in Collingdale, PA. Ralph joined the Air Force in 1953. Ralph and Grace had two sons Ralph Howell Hoke, III and David Wayne Hoke. Ralph retired from the Air Force as a Tech Sergeant in 1973. Ralph was a Veteran of the Vietnam War and was awarded the Silver Star as well as various other Air Force Medals for his services. After retiring from the Air Force Ralph relocated with his wife and son to Reno, NV where he lived for the last 39 years. Ralph later retired from Cal Nevada Gas and was a member of the Reno Renegades. He loved family, friends and traveling and will be greatly missed by those that loved him. Ralph was preceded in death by his parents, brother Richard and his loving wife Grace Edna Ferguson Hoke. Ralph is survived by his sons, Ralph Howell Hoke, III & David Wayne Hoke, his brother Victor Hoke and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Internment will be at the Masonic Memorial Gardens. No funeral services are being held.
