Robert Ring Obituary
Robert Ring Jr. 70, passed away December 6, at St. Marys hospital after a courageous battle with a lengthy illness. He was born to Robert and Lucille Ring on July 30. 1942 at St. Marys hospital in Reno, NV. He was a graduate of Reno High and went on to attend UNR and Georgetown University. He worked in the gaming industry for Harrahs club for many years and retired from Western Village Casino in 1990 to enjoy his favorite pastime of golf. He is survived by his 3 sons, Robert, Brian and Michael Ring. Services will be held at Mountain View cemetary on Wednesday December 12. at 2 p.m. followed by a celebration of life at Murphys Law Irish Pub in Reno.

From the time Bob and I were crewmates on a craps game and until he left Harrahs, Bob and I had about as much fun as ought to be allowed both on and off the job. His intelligence, logic, and wit was prominent but never in conflict with his kindness, good will and professionalism. Bob truly had a beautiful mind. He was a good friend and a good man. May God bless Bob and comfort and bless his family.
