Thomas Greenwood Obituary
Thomas James Greenwood "TJ" passed away Sunday, November 24, 2013 at his home in Salt Lake City. He was born March 18, 1975 in Ogden, Utah to Thomas Orson and Marilyn Jo Canoso Greenwood.
TJ was a 1994 graduate of Judge Memorial Catholic High School where he played football and basketball. There he gained lifetime friendships of which he cherished. He owned and operated Avid Air after graduating high school until the time of his death. He was the hardest working man, who took pride in everything he worked on. He married Nichole Marie Howa on May 4, 2002 at St. Vincent's Catholic Church, and had two beautiful boys, Aidan James (October 10, 2006) and Gavin Tony (May 5, 2009).
TJ was the happiest, most loving man ever. Everyone always felt so loved and accepted when they were a part of his life. He loved to make everyone laugh! He especially loved his wife, Nichole, whom he adored and honored. And, more than anything, was the best dad in the world to his sons Aidan and Gavin. He was so proud of his family.
TJ was an avid hunter, fisher, outdoorsman, and adventurer. Some of his favorite trips were spent chasing animals with Slim-tha-Killa (Jimmy Reynolds). He loved spending time with his family at Bear Lake and sitting by the fire looking at the stars. He was a true kindred spirit.

TJ is survived by his wife Nichole Howa Greenwood; sons Aidan James and Gavin Tony; sisters Merrie Jo (Rick) Smith, and Amy (John) Renola; parents Thomas and Marilyn Greenwood; numerous nieces and a nephew.
Preceded in death by (uncle) Tony Devecchi, and (grandmother) Mary Devecchi Canoso; (grandparents) Ray and Arvilla Greenwood.
Special thanks to Neil O'Donnell Mortuary, St. Vincent's School, Westminster College, The Howa Family, The Crawford Family, The Renola Family, and the Smith Family for your continued love and support.
Please join us to celebrate TJ's life on Saturday, November 30, 2013 from 11 AM-12 noon at Neil O'Donnell and Sons Mortuary, 372 East 100 South, Salt Lake City, Utah. A short prayer service will begin at 12 noon.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Aidan and Gavin Greenwood Trust Fund at St. Vincent's School.

Words can not describe how sorry I was to hear about the passing of TJ. Growing up as young kids in Delta and later in Sutherland, we did everything together. Although I haven't seen TJ for many years, the memories are still very vivid. My prayers are with his family.

I remember T.J. as someone who was always great to have around. It's always sad to see someone go while still in their youth. His smile in the picture is exactly as I remember his smile a quarter century ago.

Nichole, Aidan and Gavin, we are so sorry for your loss. T.J. was a great guy. He brought lots of love and laughter into our lives. We loved to hear his stories of his bear and deer hunts and laugh a lot. He never failed to give me a big hug whenever we met and he was so kind to Dick to answer any questions or help him with our heating problems.
