Cameron Howard Goins, 33 of Dayton, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2024, at his home.
He was born in Chattanooga on Aug. 18, 1990, the son of Dirk and Lisa (Owings) Goins, who survive him.
He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Lena Owings; his two uncles, Matt Goins and Mark Owings; and his two aunts, Rebecca Goins and Tabitha Goins.
Cameron lived in Dayton all of his life and graduated from Rhea County High School. He enjoyed woodworking, bowling and fishing. He also loved the Tennessee Vols, but being an uncle was his favorite thing. He was a member of Sale Creek Church of God.
He is survived by his parents; his two brothers, Kenzie (Tiffany) Goins of Birchwood, Tenn., and Krischan (Mollie) Goins of Dayton; his sister, Caylan (Ben) Buckner of Chattanooga; his grandparents, Malcolm and Linda Goins of Dayton; his grandfather, Larry Owings of Dayton; his two nephews, Dax Goins of Birchwood Tenn., and Maverick Goins of Dayton; his niece, Lena Goins of Dayton; his two uncles, Aaron (Amanda) Goins and Mike Owings, both of Dayton; his two aunts, Laura (Rusty) Revis of Dayton and Heather (Jason) Dye of Chattanooga; and his 11 cousins, Madeline Goins, Allie Goins, Amos Goins, Kevin (Patterson) Revis, Jacob (Kristen) Revis, Millie Revis, Chatt Revis, Coulter Bear Revis, all of Dayton, and Saeri Goins, Savannah (Garrett) Hill and Brooks Hill, all of Chattanooga; his great-aunts and great-uncles; and his many additional cousins.
Funeral services for Cameron will be held at Sale Creek Church of God on Wednesday, March 6, 2024, at 2 p.m. with Rev. Rusty Revis and Rev. Terry Bolton officiating. Cameron will lie in state at the church after 1 p.m. He will be laid to rest in Rhea Memory Gardens.

The family is being cared for by Vanderwall Funeral Home in Dayton where they received friends on Tuesday, March 5, 2023, from 5 to 9 p.m.

Seems like yesterday we were all hanging out at Bubbys apartment having fun...
