David Trentham Obituary

David Denzal Trentham, 71, went to be with his Savior on Monday, Aug. 1, 2022. He lived in Rhea County for 65 years and was a member of Texas Grove Baptist Church.

David was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Trentham; parents, Denzal and Ada Trentham; brother, Terry Trentham; and sister, Sue Lou Allen.

He is survived by his children, Andrea (Jimmie) Simpson of Cookeville, Tenn., Jennifer Trentham of Kingston, Tenn., and Cathy (Sam) Trent of Rogersville, Tenn.; sister, Martha Scoggins of Evensville; grandchildren, Bailey Simpson, David Simpson and Shelby Trent.

David will lie in state on Saturday, Aug. 6, 2022, at Texas Grove Baptist Church from 2 to 4 p.m. Funeral services will follow at 4 p.m. with Rev. Norman Huskey officiating. He will be laid to rest in Ad-Smith Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Texas Grove Baptist Church Youth Group, 1690 Texas Grove Road, Evensville, TN 37332 or Tug McGraw Foundation, P.O. Box 45 Yountville, CA 94599 (www.tugmcgraw.org).
