Pat,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you. May God comfort you and bring you peace during this time of sadness. "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow nor crying; neither shall there be any more pain; for the former things are passed away. Pat and family,
Ken and I express our sympathy to you and your children. We are grateful that we were blessed with knowing Algie. His cheerful attitude was a great addition to our Guardian Sunday School Class. We are so sorry that circumstances beyond our control kept us from being there for you.

The Spirit of the White Bird

On November 29th Two Thousand and Eight
God called home an incredible saint.
This was a man with unbelievable strength
That everyone loved and witnessed his faith.
Early in his younger years
He was stricken with many challenging fears.
First it was his heart that began to fail
But with his strength he said “I will prevail”.
His heart may have been weak but his mind was young
As he played with his trains and always had fun.
Christmas was one of his most favorite times of the year
From trimming the tree to just being with the ones he held dear.
His favorite food was hot dogs and a drink
And you might even hear him say “Bring me a shake”.
As the years went by, his kidneys also failed
But there again he said “I will prevail”.
He was a fighter and never gave up
Even though to us it looked like he had ran out of luck.
His joyous spirit that we all knew
Was always there when we felt blue.
When he opened his eyes so wide and bright
Everyone knew it was Algie Light.
As time went on, his health grew dim
So God called him home to be with him.
After a wonderful service to celebrate his life
We all walked to the cemetery with friends and his loving wife.
A white bird was released in the air as we all stood around
And to our amazement, snow began to fall to the ground.
The bird flew to the top of the church
And landed on the roof where it began to perch.
It stared at us until it flew to the skies
As tears began to fill our eyes.
God had given him wings because he knew best
It was time for Algie to come home and rest.

In Loving Memory
May You Rest In Peace

Dear Glenda and family,

I was so sorry to hear of your father's passing. Even though he had been ill, it is still a shock when it happens. Just know that he is in a better place and at peace now. It does not dull the pain of loss, but it will give more comfort as time passes.

Again, my deepest sympathy. If I may be of help in any way, please let me know

Gloria:
I am so sorry for your loss. I am glad you were able to spend these last few months with your father though. I lost my father on Dec 4, 1995, and I know the pain you feel, especially this time of year. But he lives on through you! My thoughts and prayers are with you. If I can do anything for you, I am just a call away. With much love, Debbie.

Be Still

Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.

Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak, in the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.

If you are still this promise I make, you will hear the voice of your loved one helping you along your way.
