On the way to Carol's memorial I saw some crocus and daffodils peeking out of the snow. I thought to myself Carol would have noticed that and loved it as I did. She taught me to enjoy beauty. What a wonderful teacher she was. My life is remarkably richer because of her. She loved sunrises, and everything in between until sunset. She taught me about gracious living, making a beautiful flower garden, and making a comfortable home. she gave me my love for interior design, and exterior design. It gives me great joy, knowing my sister had an amazing life. She was happily married to Gary. Her priority was his happiness, and his priority was her happiness. They were so in tune with each other, it seemed like they could sense each others need, and fulfill it, even before the other person even realized they needed it. It was a true balance. Carol was smart. She was very smart. She was lovely, and dignified, and funny, and fun. Carol was wonderful! She was the best sister in the world. I will miss her everyday of my life, and I will think of her every time I see extraordinary beauty. Pamela Parker, Houston, Texas.

Gary,
I met your wife through my sister-in-law and whenever I could get together with them, I felt joy. Carol was one of the most gracious and kind women that I have met. I always loved hearing her talk because she had such a sweet, soft voice. I called it the voice of an angel and now she is one looking over you. God bless you and I will keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers. Sincerely, Joan Twilley

Gary,
I just wanted to pass along my condolences and to let you know that i am here if you every need anything. Carol became a second mother to me over the last few years when we met at Greene Memorial. I always enjoyed the mother/son talks that we would often share during lunch after attending church. She was one of the most kind hearted people that i had ever met.I know that you all had a wonderful relationship and her memories will live on. Carol will always hold a special place in my heart and i will miss seeing her every Wednesday.
