David COBBS Obituary

David Eugene Cobbs, of Roanoke, passed away Monday, September 3, 2013. He was preceded in death by his parents, Naomi A. and Harry R. Cobbs. Survivors include his children, LeVita (Ronald) Washington, Chansity Cobbs Stewart, Tiara T. Cobbs, Brian (Samantha) Hairston, and David D. Cobbs; brother, Donald (Anita) Cobbs; sister, Barbara (David) Hall; grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and devoted stepson, Ernest (Kimberly) Harrington.
A Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, September 6, 2013, at Pilgrim Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Southwestern Virginia Veterans Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Friends may call at Serenity on Thursday from 2 to 8 p.m. for viewing. Arrangements by Serenity Funeral Home and Cremation Service.

I am saddened to hear that such a nice man has left this world, i didnt know David really well but i had the chance to become associated with him through church, he was a sharp dresser, nice , kind man who always had a kind word for me. He will be sadly & deeply missed.
