Jim also touched my life like so many young people that came through the park. He always had words of advice to give. I pray that the LORD will hold you up in this time of sorrow and grieving.

Dear Friends,

I worked with James (Peanut) in the '70's at Claytor Lake and later interviewed him for his first Park Ranger job at Bear Creek. He was a fine man, gentle, humorous, and someone you could count on. He will be missed by many.

"Let not your hearts be troubled ... In my Father's house are many rooms ... I will come again and take you to myself, that where I am you may be also"
(John 14:1-3)
