Janice Ridpath Obituary

Janice Ray Ridpath, 79, of the Graysontown Community of Radford, passed away Friday, September 5, 2008, in Pulaski. She was employed at Burlington Mills of Radford for 42 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, G.W. and Dot Simpkins Ridpath; and a brother, Guy Ridpath. Survivors include a brother and sisterin-law, Robert and Lucille Ridpath, of Radford; a sister, Evelyn R. Nixon, of Christiansburg; and a niece. A special thank you to the staff of Pulaski Health Center. Our precious sister went on a journey were we could not reach her. The journey has ended and she is resting now in the arms of her Lord in her heavenly home. Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, September 7, 2008, at the West View Cemetery in Radford with the Rev. John Thomas and Rev. Mike Vest officiating. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. on Saturday, September 6, 2008, at the funeral home. to robert and ebbie my thoughts and prayers go out for you in this time of sorrow. i can remember going to janices for dinner at thanksgiving and trying to play with her monkey but it was to mean to get close too. she was always so nice to me.if i can do anything let me know. love mary beth
