Paul Woo Obituary
October 19, 1944 - March 28, 2025
Paul John Woo Jr. passed away peacefully in his sleep at the age of 80, on March 28, 2025, at his home in Richmond, Va., with his wife, Mary Rose, by his side.
Paul is survived by his wife, Mary Rose Woo; three children, Nicole Woo Seevers (Tim), Paul Justin Woo (Amanda), and Slade Thomas Woo; six grandchildren, Chase, Cole, and Caroline Seevers, and Tom, Charli, and Araya Woo; and his sister, Jeanie Woo. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Muriel Woo; and his sister, Robin Woo.
A celebration of life service and reception will take place May 17, 2025, at 2 p.m., at Bliley, Central, 3801 Augusta Ave, Richmond, Va. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Paul J. Woo, Jr. Industrial and Systems Engineering Scholarship at Virginia Tech.

I was fortunate to work with Paul at Carilion and appreciated his wisdom and business knowledge. I got to start some businesses with him and always enjoyed working with him. Condolences to Mary Rose and all the family. Paul made a difference in many ways at Carilion.

I fondly remember Paul from our years of working together at Carilion. He was a confidently quiet, smart, fun leader who cared about people: He had lots of 'soul'. He made a difference in Carilion's evolution and is one of those people I'll never forget. Condolences to Mary Rose and his family.

I was fortunate enough to have worked with Paul at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital.
He was always upbeat and certainly knew his job.
I always looked forward to meeting with him to discuss nursing issues.
I feel he was a positive influence and played a major role in the growth of RMH.
Sympathies and prays are sent to the entire Woo family. May he forever rest in peace.
