Kay & her husband Don were family
friends since 1969. Don & my husband worked together at the
Wilmington NC Post Office for about 10 years. Kay & I became friends with our children too
as they came along. Don & Art both became Postmasters &
remained friends even into
retirement. We visited in their
home & knew their children,
especially Donna. Our oldest girl was Donna too. Don & Kay remained close friends until Art
Passed in 2018. We have always stayed in contact by phone &
greeting cards. We were a little older than them but always
remained great friends. I am now
84 & losing most of my dear friends. They will always remain
In our memories of great friends.
