Alice Yarbrough Obituary
Alice Yarbrough, age 84, of Conyers died Saturday, March 7, 2009. She was preceded in death by her husband, Danny Lee Yarbrough, Sr.; son, Danny Yarbrough, Jr. and grandson, Matthew Yarbrough. Mrs. Yarbrough is survived by daughters, Jane & Gene Smith, Stockbridge, Dot & Dennis Pardue, Cleveland, Alicia & Philip Sawyer, Conyers; daughter-in-law, Mary Ellen Yarbrough, Savannah; grandchildren, Hal Pardue, Pat Smith, Andy Smith, Erin Smith, Lacey Pardue Owen, Chris Sawyer, Kaitlyn Sawyer; 4 great-grandchildren. She was a former member of Rockdale Baptist Church and currently a member of Heritage Hills Baptist Church where she attended the Joy Sunday School class. Funeral services will be held Monday, March 9, 2009 at Heritage Hills Baptist Church at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Fred Unger officiating; interment will follow at Green Meadow Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, friends may make contributions to the charity of your choice. To The Yarbrough Family
We want you to know Della and I are asking God to strengthen and comfort all you in your grief at the loss of Your mother Alice . We, Christians, know the comforting truth is that God is there to help
you and sustain you through this . Reach out and take His hand. Let Him hold you and carry you through this. “Draw nigh to God, and He will draw nigh to you.” (James 4:8a )
We haven't seen Alice in a few year but Della and I certainly thought a lot of her. We consider her a true friend.
We realize the coming days will be difficult for you –if there is any way we can help you please don’t hesitate to call on us.
