Bonnie Lou Robertson

Bonnie Lou Steele Robertson, 79, of Clifton Forge, VA passed away on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at LewisGale Hospital in Salem, VA. Mrs. Robertson was born on January 30, 1946 in Pembroke, VA and was a daughter of the late William Steele and Darlene Keffer Steele. Bonnie was a natural caregiver and found joy in taking care of those around her. She spent time tending to her house plants and most of all, cherished time spent with her grandchildren. On December 12, 1964 she married Billy Ray Robertson, who preceded her in death on January 12, 2004. Surviving family members include two sons, Richard "Rick" Robertson and wife, Pam and Charles Robertson; one daughter, Dana Allen and husband, Rusty; one sister, Pam Lambert and husband, Rick; grandchildren, C.J. Robertson and wife, Jessica, Megan Robertson, Jordan Robertson and fiancé, Noah Murphy, Blake Robertson and wife, Cameron, Russell WD Allen and wife, Morgan, Garrett Allen and fiancée, Cierra and Nicholas Allen and wife, Lillie; numerous great-grandchildren and many extended family members and friends. In addition to her parents and husband, Bonnie was preceded in death by a brother, James "Mike" Steele and a daughter-in-law, Thelma "Snickers" Robertson. A memorial service will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 26, 2025 at Kyger Funeral Home in Harrisonburg with Pastor Rick Robertson officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
