Malcolm Andrew Langley

Malcolm Mike Andrew Langley, 56, of Rocky Mount passed away Monday. His funeral service will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Joyners Funeral Home. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:30 1:45 p.m. Thursday at Joyners Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. Mike had been an active member of the Sharpsburg Fire Department since 1991. He was the owner of Langley Tile Company. He was a hardworking man who loved to cook and fish. Mike was a wonderful husband, father, papa, brother and friend who never met a stranger. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed. Mike was proud of his oldest grandson, Nicholas Owens who is now serving his country as a Marine. Mike is survived by his wife, Donna B. Langley of Rocky Mount; his daughters, Crystal Wall and husband, Brandon of Elm City, Nikki Langley and fiance;, Josh Manning of Rocky Mount and Donna Riggs and husband, Timothy of Elm City; his son, Aaron Langley of Rocky Mount; ten grandchildren; his sisters, Celia Edmondson, Diane Edmondson and Glenda Johnson all of Rocky Mount; his brother, Alvin Langley of Church Road, Virginia; his Mema, Brenda Riggs of Rocky Mount and his best friend, Melvin Edmondson of Rocky Mount. He was preceded in death by his parents, Aaron and Ernestine Jones Langley and his brother, Aaron Langley, Jr. In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested in honor of Mike to the Sharpsburg Fire Department, PO Box 275, Sharpsburg, NC 27878.
