I feel very fortunate to have encountered such a wonderful lady. Blondene had a way of touching many of the lives around her with her positive attitude and sweet demeanor. I was a CNA at Wesley Willows and cared for her in both the retirement home and personal care. Blondene was an exceptional woman and will be greatly missed.

I'm so sorry for your loss; Blondene was a great lady! I remember all the years Blondene, her sister Betty and I enjoyed playing Bingo together at Milestone....she will be greatly missed.

Dear Family of Aunt Blondene,
I have been so thankful for the time we spent with Aunt Blondene before her last fall and her death. She was so lively and entertaining. We enjoyed our visit as she wanted to introduce us to everyone. We are thankful she had such a wonderful group taking care of her! She told us how the doctor who delivered her told her mama to name her Blondie Dean because she was so blonde. She didn't like that name and changed it to Blondene. We had not heard her tell that story. We were able to show her pictures we had made of Larry and tell her how we took Kowaliga by cell phone for him to listen to.
Aunt Blondene will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
I wish we all could be at the funeral today to pay tribute to her wonderful life.

My name is Alicia I'm a nurse from Wesley Willows that took care of Blondene, She was an exceptional woman, always smiling or saying something funny, Always up beat even when she didn't feel 100%, Her life story she allowed me to read, she told me she wrote it for her grandchildren, I told her that her story was very inspiring and to see all that she had achieved she laughed and said to keep living and remember to always put God first. I will miss her quick wit, contagious smile and her helpful life lesson hints, to her family may God be with you as you celebrate Blondene home going. Peace and Love.
