Daniel Gratton Obituary

DANIEL L. GRATTON, 72 LOVES PARK - Daniel L. Gratton, 72, of Loves Park went home to be with his Lord on Sunday, Dec. 12, 2010, at East Bank Center in Loves Park. Born Aug. 29, 1938, in Freeport, the son of John Gratton Sr. and Antonia (Collura) Carter. Daniel was a self-employed painter in the area for many years, and he enjoyed music and studying the Bible. Survived by two daughters; two sisters; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents; two brothers; and one daughter. Private family service. Burial in City Cemetery, Freeport. A memorial has been established in his name. Arrangements completed by Walker Mortuary in Freeport.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss
I wish we had known each other more but we did have one thing in common our love for our Mother She was a wonderful mother
I didn't have her very long but her love as with here love for Daniel keep our hearts strong i will keep you guys in my prayers Minnie and family
